I am not all that good--I am kind of muddling along in fact--but it is true that I am doing my best.
Well, I have a job in Trinidad in January, so I won't get stuck for too long. And yet despite all the dislikable things about the US, my homes there have a special hold on me as well. I want to come home and knit a sweater and see friends and family and slog around in wet leaves. And if I can come back and not go numb myself, but help even one other come out of that and open his eyes--add compost to that soil--that's another thing that makes it worth it.

Also I am looking forward to talking to you in person when I get home, as I am acquainted with lots of your lovely elves and creatures and now your kindly encouragement of my writing, but not much with your actual person...Thanks again!
SarahA Thousand Eyeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05350795764880855393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-760842970713723117.post-37217755015391988732010-11-29T14:07:02.058-08:002010-11-29T14:07:02.058-08:00Oh Sarah- you are so good! I love what you are doing and learning over yonder- out in the world!Of course I would encourage you to NOT come back so soon- this country tends to act like a magnet once you return- it is difficult to leave again. AND I swear the people living here become more numb every day. The soil is not fertile...if you catch my drift. Stay well, dear one!Linda Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03070050388987072100noreply@blogger.com
